Keay & Associate, Architecture Ltd. Brings an extensive resume of architectural experience in the Victoria region and throughout British Columbia. We believe strongly that architecture and planning should be an open and consultative process, and that successful design can only be achieved by means of close and fruitful interaction with the client. It is fundamental to us to have excellent working relationships our clients, as well as with municipal governments, community, and specific interest groups. We also believe that architecture exists within the context of its surroundings, and bring this approach to the design of new construction as well as in the restoration and adaptive re-use of existing buildings.

The firm avoids undue specialization in types of projects, and the principals have a wide range of career experience, ranging from multi-million dollar projects to small residential and commercial buildings. Recent projects include the Belfry Theatre, quality commercial projects, and custom residential design. Other work has incorporated our extensive experience in building technology, construction administration and building assessment.

The firm has built a strong reputation for quality design and technical innovation as well as a sensitivity to the constraints that clients must consider in the market place, so that good design is always complemented by an awareness of the realities of construction and cost.
